We provide the person focused care and support for each individual. The home specialises in providing insightful mental health support for people who have complex needs. We have close working relationships with local mental health teams, and together with them and the individual, we develop strategies that aim to make early interventions and as a result avoid mental health deterioration. Lambourne provides a home where staff encourage and support people to develop their life skills and engage positively within the community in work, educational or leisure settings.

The people living in Queenswood are 50 years old and above, so their pace of life is perhaps a little more relaxed than for a young person’s service.
